An established company in the professional services sector are looking for an IT Support Technician to strengthen their team. Joining a team of 4 others and reporting to the IT Manager, you will respond to internal IT service requests and incidents over the phone, via email or in-person.
The role will be office-based in their Alderley Edge office, with working hours of Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm.
The organisation is undergoing an exciting period of growth in addition to digital transformation, so this is a great opportunity to work with some of the latest technologies and also be involved in exciting IT project work.
Responsibilities include:
- Resolve technical support queries for end-users, applications and services.
- Log and resolve support tickets, seeing out the whole process from start to finish.
- Ensure support for existing and new technology.
- Monitor and optimise performance of key systems.
- Office 365 management
- Provide technical advice to non-technical users, including updating relevant documentation and systems.
- Provide excellent customer and end-user support.
Skills / Experience include:
- Ideally 2 years' experience in a similar IT Support role, providing 1st and 2ndline support.
- Microsoft 365 delivery and support
- InTune
- Active Directory administration
- Azure AD
- Windows 10 support
- Knowledge of Networking - LAN / WAN
- Any scripting knowledge (Powershell) would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Previous knowledge / experience working within an ITIL environment (beneficial)
