It Support Technician

Hays are working with a professional services organisation in central Bristol to recruit for an IT Support Technician. The role is a fixed-term contract (9 months) and pays a salary up to £30,000pa, the role is mostly full time on site in Bristol due to the nature of the role.
Your new role
Within the role, you will provide on site hardware and desktop support for all users at the organisation. You will deal with tickets and calls in line with agreed business SLAs. You will provide floor walking to support with hardware and software upgrades and assist in infrastructure project-based work as and when required. You will cover core areas across IT support, IT asset management and ticket management.
What you\'ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need to have worked in a similar IT support (hardware / desktop) role and have a range of in-depth knowledge of computer hardware, mobile devices, operating systems, enterprise software and server systems. You will need to be able to commit to getting on site 5 days per week in central Bristol, you will need good customer service skills and excellent problem-solving skills. ITIL awareness would be beneficial as would good technical knowledge of windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
