Working for a well-known manufacturing brand in Alfreton, your role as IT System Administrator will give you variety, technical development, and genuine support for progression.

You’ll play a crucial role in supporting the general infrastructure across multiple sites, provide hands-on IT support, and manage a diverse range of systems within an evolving on-prem/cloud structure.

Salary £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Office based in Alfreton

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the point of escalation for 1st Line Support
• Troubleshooting of software and hardware issues
• Maintain close relationships with external stakeholders
• Involvement in internal IT projects
• Support the transition from on-prem to Cloud
• Manage Windows Server environments
• Implement and manage Active Directory and Group Policy
• Improve the IT Security across the business and maintain PCI DSS compliance
• Review IT policies and ensure clear documentation

ABOUT YOU

• Experience in a similar IT System Admin or 2nd Line Support role
• Extensive experience with Office365 and Microsoft suite
• Comfortable working independently
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work on own initiative
• Technologies: O365, Exchange, DNS, Firewall, VLAN Administration, Windows Server, Cloud technologies
