It Systems Engineer

IT Systems Engineer - Mansfield - £30k-£40k

An IT Systems Engineer with strong Windows Server, VMware virtualisation and good enterprise-wide networking knowledge is required to join a leading manufacturing company in Mansfield.

As a company, the products they manufacture are out of this word (literally roaming on Mars).

They're a close-knit tech team of 5 in Mansfield who play a crucial role supporting European-wide operations and IT Infrastructure, with over 7 sites in Europe and 1000+ end users. Working closely with the IT Manager, you'll get the chance to work on a range of projects this year as they move from hybrid to cloud environments and huge network upgrades.

Key skills required:

• Windows Server 2022/2019
• VMware ESXi virtualisation
• Active Directory, Group Policy (DNS/DHCP)
• Office 365 administration, inc. SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Admin
• Experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide networks (LAN, WAN, WLANs etc)
• Azure
• HP Aruba switches, Cisco Meraki APs and firewalls,
• Backup solutions - Veeam
• ConnectWise

This is a rare hire as the IT team have a long tenure and a family-like feel. To give context, the IT Manager has spent the last the last 15 years watching the company scale from 250 employees to 1000 in this time, growing from 2 sites to a total of 7 across Europe.
