Location: Bournemouth

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 - 5.30pm

Hourly rate: National Minimum Wage

About Our Client:

As an Apprentice, you will have the chance to be the first point of contact for IT support within the company and be responsible for the provisioning of laptops, PCs and desks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acting as the first point of contact for IT support within the company, liaising with colleagues to help solve technical issues via the telephone, email and face to face.
• Setting up laptops, PCs and desks for new starters ensuring all relevant software is installed and access rights granted
• Support with troubleshooting technical issues and escalating complex problems to senior team members
• Maintaining detailed records of reported IT issues & company asset
• Registering users & creating accounts across various platforms

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for learning about IT and developing a career in this field
• Excellent communication skills and have a friendly and approachable manner
• Good problem solving abilities
• GCSE Maths and English at a grade 4/C or above (or equivalent qualifications such as functional skills level 2)
