Italian Transport Coordinator

RELOcruitment Ltd are pleased to be assisting one of the leading Moving & Storage firms in Italy. As a result of their growth and expansion, they are now seeking an Operations Coordinator to join their busy team in London.

The ideal candidate will have experience within the Transport / Shipping / Freight Forwarding / Haulage / Storage or similar Industries and be able to communicate in both English and Italian.

This is a full-time office-based position, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. In North West London.

Responsibilities:

• Management of ROAD import/export practices through the use of company software
• Preparation and control of the documentation necessary for the execution of the services
• Entering the necessary information into the company system and online calendar
• Close communication with colleagues/departments of other offices and national and international agents
• Customer support for the preparation and control of customs documents
• Contact with the warehouse for the organization of collections and deliveries
• Management of customs operations through contact with customs agents
• Cost and revenue monitoring and optimization

Qualifications:

• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of written and spoken Italian
• Knowledge of the main IT tools
• Preferential requirement, at least 2/3 years of experience in a related sector
• Excellent ability to work in a team and to make decisions quickly in critical situations as well as excellent customer relationship skills.

Remuneration and classification will be defined on the basis of the candidate's experience and seniority.
