We are working exclusively with an IoT software house that is starting to work with some really big enterprise clients such as Co-op, Nestle, and Heinz - YES, HEINZ BEANS!!! They are looking for a Java developer to come and join their team and are happy for you to work remotely if that’s what you prefer.
You’ll have the chance to work on developing applications from scratch, developing/creating new features on the product for their clients and their product. Their product is operated with Kubernetes on public clouds, administering databases, ensuring smooth operations, and collaborating with colleagues on various aspects of the software stack. You will be working in a small team of 5 to 8 developers and collaborating with other developers.
They are looking for a developer who has experience with:
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.
- Experience with Kubernetes, including Helm, for efficient deployment.
- A solid grasp of SQL, DBA practices, and administration of Postgres databases.
- Knowledge of working with public cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Understanding and experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with messaging queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and caching solutions (e.g., Redis).
