The Role:
As a JCB Plant Engineer, you will be performing maintenance, repairs, and services on customer machines to ensure a high standard of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
-Reporting any defects that may impact the safe use of a machine to the manager.
-Conducting inspections and repairing machines in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
-Ensuring timely and precise completion of all paperwork, both in hard copies and electronically.
-Efficiently ordering required parts for jobs and maintaining close communication with the parts team.
-Undertaking other pertinent duties aligned with the position.
Requirements:
-Previously worked as a Plant Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role.
-Certification in Construction / Plant Maintenance or an experienced technician / engineer specialising in Plant Maintenance repair.
-Prior experience in diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault finding.
-Valid CSR card. (Beneficial)
-Full UK driving licence.
