The Role

The ideal person can expect to be involved in a wide range of works, working in both the private and commercial sector.

Our works can include entire strip outs & reinstatement of properties as a result of fire or flood, insurance works, damp proofing and decay works, and general property maintenance.

This will include strip out works, framing and sheeting, finishings such as skirtings and architraves, hanging doors, uplifting floors, thereafter reinstating them to a pre loss condition.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

The ideal candidate would be someone who is well motivated and very keen to learn new skills with good time keeping, however a candidate with insurance reinstatement or preservation background would be beneficial.

A good understanding of health and safety and site cleanliness is essential.

A van will be provided so a full UK driving licence is essential (Ideally no points please).

The role can be physical, so it is important that you are in good health and physically fit.

You must also offer flexibility with regards to working hours, willing to work late at times to meet our customers’ needs and deadlines.

You may be required to work at height or in confined spaces, so this role would not be suitable for anyone with phobias relating to these situations.

Candidate may be required to make their way to and from sites themselves on occasions.

You must be of smart and clean personal presentation and have a polite and helpful manner.

A clean criminal record is essential due to some of our contracts.

Salary: From £17.00 per hour
