Junior Account Manager
A rare opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading Signage companies based in Manchester has come up. They are currently looking for a Junior Account Manager to join their fast paced growing team.
This award winning signage company specialise in hospitality, travel & transportation, retail, leisure, and international events, and your role as a Junior Account Manager will involve primarily being responsible for maintaining relationships with assigned existing clients.
Main Roles & Responsibilities
- Interpret customer inquiries and clarify requirements.
- Using our management information system, Clarity, to prepare costings and proposals, providing the best & most effective solution for the clients' needs using the expertise of the Sales, Projects, and Technical Teams.
- Work closely with the Projects, Operations, and Technical Teams to ensure information is produced in a timely manner to respond to client inquiries within the deadlines set.
- Establish relationships with existing clients across all sectors and provide a good service to maintain recurring business.
- Work closely with the Sales Team and Senior Account Manager to develop new opportunities through channels within the company’s existing client base.
- Co-operate and manage supplier relationships. Liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing for materials and services.
- Prepare job-specific documentation to ensure correct communication.
- Prepare forecasts for reporting sales figures.
- Responsible for assigned accounts
- Identify historic dormant accounts that should be targeted and establish a plan to develop and re-board
- Develop relationships with existing clients across all sectors and provide an excellent service to maintain and grow recurring business.
- Research and visit existing customers to develop further relationships, markets, and business opportunities.
General Responsibilities
- Learn and achieve knowledge of our products and services.
- Attend site visits, customer meetings, and surveys as assigned
- Ensure that all estimating is via the Clarity MIS system and that the system is frequently monitored and updated with key dates and information.
- Communicate with colleagues internally to ensure the successful delivery of orders.
- Communicate with suppliers and place subcontract orders where necessary.
- Communicate with customers before, during, and after sales.

- Have Signage industry experience and knowledge

- Experience with Google Workspace is preferred but not essential.
- Able to produce regular reporting on sales forecasts and performance.
- Leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and deal with complaints
- Clean and full driving license
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £28,000
