Role: Junior Account Manager (Energy / Utilities)
Location: Hybrid – South Manchester (3 days in the office and 2 from home)
Salary: up to 30k DOE

Summary:

We are seeking a Junior Account Manager to join a dynamic team at an energy and carbon consultancy. In this role you will be an integral part of the mission to expand partnerships and nurturing existing client relationships. This is an ideal opportunity to grow your knowledge and understanding of energy and carbon services. You will need to have at least 1 year experience within the Energy industry in a similar role, possess excellent communication skills and a passion to develop a career in Account Management. Key responsibilities:

• Assisting with managing and growing existing client relationships and accounts.
• Increase and support account management and engagement within existing partnerships.
• Develop relationships with new partners / customers / clients.
• Meet with stakeholders to discuss and understand their challenges and needs
• Keep up to date with services, changing legislation, and developing markets.
• Researching and identifying new business opportunities
• Attending seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
• Upkeep of prospects and sales pipeline within CRM.

Skills and experience required:

• At least 1 year experience in the Energy Sector, in a similar role
• University degree in sustainability, environmental, engineering, energy efficiency etc (desirable)
• Clear & concise written and spoken communication skills.
• An interest in developing a career in Account Management
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients
• Think holistically – seeing the bigger picture and being able to work with the whole team.
• Strong commercial approach to all work.
• Strong IT skills and experience of email, spreadsheets, and databases.
