Established Construction Company based near Whitstable, on the East Kent Coast, are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. This role is fully office based and due to the location, the ideal person will be a driver with access to a vehicle. Reporting to the Financial Director, this person will be responsible for the following:
Processing invoices, preparing payment requests, and reconciling statements
Performing data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements
Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes
Ad-hoc administrative duties
The ideal candidate will be a proficient user of Sage, with previous experience in similar role. This is a hands on role, requiring strong attention to detail and good communication skills. The position is office based, 5 days a week - there is a free on-site parking. Other benefits include 20 days holiday + bank holidays and pension.
