Job Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week,Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm

We are working alongside a well-established Global Brand who are currently looking for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join their team.
As part of the accounts team, you will be maintaining an efficient, organised, and accurate finance function for the business. The main role of this position will be maintaining of the purchase ledger, sales ledger and data input.
Key Responsibilities will include;
- Processing high volumes of invoices
- Maintaining Purchase Ledgers / Sales Ledgers
- Matching invoices to purchase orders
- Chasing for missing purchase orders
- Credit card/BACS reconciliation
- Preparing payment files for BACS runs
- Providing administrative support to the team
- Maintaining spreadsheets for the department
- Maintaining Internal Database records
- Ad hoc duties to support the finance department
For this role the successful applicant will possess;
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in accounts
- Proficiency within Excel and accounting systems
- Excellent data entry & reconciliation skills
- Solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload
- Enthusiastic, committed and a fast learner
- Computer literate and highly numerate with high degree of accuracy
- Strong communication skills
