We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Clerk to join our expanding finance team. The role involves a range of accounting tasks including credit control, invoice posting, and bank reconciliations. This position is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of finance experience, preferably within the freight industry, and who is proficient with Microsoft Excel and systems.
Day-to-day of the role:- Conduct credit control activities to ensure timely payments.
- Post purchase invoices accurately within the system.
- Manage bank receipts and payments, maintaining meticulous records.
- Perform bank and CDS reconciliations regularly.
- Allocate costs to jobs effectively and accurately.
- Generate ad hoc reports and analysis to support management decisions.
- At least 1 year of experience in a finance-related role.
- Experience within the freight industry is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Systems, particularly Excel (V Look-up & Pivot Table).
- Familiarity with Sage Line 50 and BoxTop is an advantage.
- Strong personality with the ability to handle month-end deadlines and pressure.

- Office-based role with regular working hours. ( 9-5.30pm)
