Due to continued growth, my client has an excellent opportunity for a Junior Commercial Analyst to join their business in this newly created role in South Manchester. You will join the eCommerce team to support New Product Development in the hugely successful eCommerce arm of the business.

!Your role will involve:

• Report directly into the Commercial Analyst, support the team in challenging on turnover and profit performance and where they can increase both.
• Working with all members of the eCommerce team to create and analyse datasets, helping to: identify trends, share insights, and provide recommendations.
• Follow up reporting on key changes such as: price amendments, delivery options and customer facing assets.
• Analyse market data to understand key sales gaps and opportunities, particularly in underperforming categories.
• Supporting the wider business by providing data insights required for New Product Development, from idea through to commercial sign-off.

Skills & Experience:

• High level of proficiency in Excel and other analytical software
• Understanding of commercial KPI’s
• Ability to spot trends, highlight issues and apply creative thinking to all situations
• Knowledge and experience of both B2B and B2C
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Working within the Home category advantageous
• Well organised with excellent time management skills
