Junior Bookkeeper
To 27k pro-rata/part-time. Negotiable depending on previous experience.
20 hours per week, Mornings Mon to Fri.
Must have previous experience of QuickBooks and/or Xero.

Our client is a Surrey based Practice with a team of finance experts providing businesses with accurate monthly Accounting, Bookkeeping and Payroll services including comprehensive Management Accounting.
About the Junior Bookkeeper role:
As a Part-Time Bookkeeper, you'll be an essential member of our client's financial operations, working closely with the management team. Your expertise in double-entry Bookkeeping, VAT, and QuickBooks and/or Xero will be at the core of maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities of the Junior Bookkeeper
- Accurately enter invoices and nominal entries.
- Assist in regular reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns promptly.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support the management team with financial reporting and analysis.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Stay up to date with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with Accountants and provide support as needed.
The ideal Junior Bookkeeper for this role will be able to bring the following to the role:
- Some experience in Bookkeeping, with a proven track record in bookkeeping.
- Knowledge of VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks and or Xero to effectively manage financial records.
- Hands-on experience and practical expertise in Bookkeeping.
- Attention to detail and a relentless commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
While AAT qualifications or part-qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA would be advantageous, our client values hands-on experience and practical expertise.
