DESCRIPTION

TRAINEE BUSINESS ASSURANCE PARTNER
LEICESTER BASED
SALARY UP TO 45,000
Reporting to the Business Assurance Manager, to contribute to the delivery of the Business Assurance framework across the group, ensuring that all key daily, weekly, and monthly activities are completed on time and to the required quality with specific focus on Anti-Money Laundering and other onboarding control processes.
Daily duties will consist of;
\" Carefully balancing Risk, Compliance and business priorities, the Developing Business Assurance Partner will work with all levels throughout the group to deliver operational controls to provide maximum assurance with as minimal an impact on the effective performance of business units and other teams as possible
\" In addition, and independently of 2nd line Compliance, the Developing Business Assurance Partner will assist with the monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of operational, regulatory and risk controls within the group
\" To assist with the delivery of the Business Assurance framework ensuring that all key activities are completed, data collected, and management information reported
\" To work collaboratively with all levels across the group to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and risk is adequately managed
\" To assist with the provision of training on regulatory topics as directed by the Business Assurance Manager
\" To assist with client risk profiling and client identification on new and existing clients
\" Working with business units to resolve account opening issues and to obtain necessary information to perform client due diligence which meets with the firms AML policy and procedures
\" Follow up and track cases through to completion, escalating any high-risk issues to management
\" To assist with monitoring and reporting checks to determine the effectiveness of the operational and regulatory processes within the business and which support the risk control framework
\" To assist with the oversight and monitoring of client data within the group with a particular focus on pensions administration and investment operations
\" To assist with the provision of assurance to senior managers that operations are functioning as expected and identifying improvement opportunities and risks for decision and action by operational and client facing teams
\" To identify training needs and assist with relevant training as the need arises
\" Assisting with the resolution of issues, concerns, conflicts, and breaches professionally, efficiently, and effectively
\" Promoting the principles of Consumer Duty and putting our clients first in all activities
To apply for the role candidate should have a sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products and be prepared to develop this knowledge to meet the needs of the business. You should also be flexible and happy to travel to other office locations for meetings, training, or site visits as and when required. Candidates should have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels within the group. You will also have the ability to communicate effectively with tact and diplomacy, both in writing and verbally
