Junior CAD/ Design Engineer

We are looking for a creative and talented junior CAD Design Engineer for this position. They will be responsible for the following duties:

• Design/ adaptations of designs of Industrial brakes and braking systems.

• Creation of assembly drawings, detailed drawings and parts lists.

• Design of electro-magnetic coils.

• Specification of control equipment.

• Preparation of test documents and test supervision.

Skills:

• Use of 2D and 3D CAD. Training provided but previous CAD experience expected.

• Use of spreadsheets.

• Familiarly with standard computer software packages

• Familiarly with electronic circuits

• Basic understanding of hydraulics circuits

• Basic understanding of pneumatic circuits

• Basic understanding of electrical wiring circuits

• Will have excellent analytical and communication skills

• Will demonstrate a positive attitude

• The ability to cooperate with team members and leaders

• Strong "people" skills

Education and Experience:

A combination of over two years of directly related education, training and/or experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is desired for this position.
