Junior Cad Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Junior CAD Technician to join our team in York. As a Junior CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using various software programs. Initially floor plans then moving into detailed elevations. We are a commercial Kitchen and hospitality design and install company. Your skills in AutoCad and keeness to learn 3D is desired. We are a growing company with exciting projects to work on and develop your skills.

Duties:
- Create and modify technical drawings and schematics using CAD software
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop design concepts
- Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and specifications
- Review and analyze project requirements to determine the most effective design approach
- Conduct quality checks on completed drawings to identify any errors or inconsistencies
- Maintain an organized database of design files and documentation
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations

Skills:
- Proficient AutoCAD, and experience with 3D is desired but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good Communication skills to get the best results for the customer.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Pay: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
