An established company are looking for a Junior CAD Technician / Designer to be office based in the Manchester area. Your role will be to support technical coordinators in their work. This is a great role for a Junior CAD Technician with little or no experience in the workplace but with a keen attitude to learn!

Responsibilities

You will work alongside the technical coordinators in the development of AutoCAD 2D shop drawings starting from the architect’s concept drawings. To define the technical specifications of the products and follow their industrialization with the suppliers of the different materials (timber, metalwork, glass, stone);

Give technical support to the Project Manager and the General Manager for communication with the clients or interior designers/architects.

Qualifications and other skills:

• AutoCAD 2D
• Office package
• Some work experience in a furniture or construction company may be preferable. Genuine passion for design, furniture and construction

The role will suit individuals currently working as Junior CAD Technician, Junior CAD Designer, 2D CAD and be living within a commutable distance of Manchester, Ashton-U-Lyne, Stockport, Oldham, Glossop or be willing to relocate.
