Salary Range: 25,000 - 30,000 per annum

Job Description We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior CAD Technician to join our team in Leighton Buzzard. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our engineering team in creating detailed technical drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Your primary focus will be on mechanical engineering design projects.
As a Junior CAD Technician, your duties will include:

• Assisting the engineering team in the development of accurate and precise technical drawings for mechanical & electrical systems.
• Working closely with the team to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensuring drawings adhere to industry standards and guidelines.
• Identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies in drawings or design layouts.
• Collaborating with team members to update and maintain drawing files and project documentation.
• Providing technical support to the engineering team as required.

The successful candidate will possess a solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles and have experience working with CAD software (AutoCAD). You should have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
