Job Title: Junior Category Manager
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: GBP33,000 - GBP40,000
Location: Bedfordshire - Office Based
The Procurement and Supply Chain Division at SF Recruitment are currently working with a creative and ambitious business based in Bedfordshire to recruit for a Junior Category Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
The Category Manager opportunity will be part of two internal departments including the Procurement department and the Sales/Account Management team.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Manage your own category, demonstrating expertise in product knowledge, and seeking gaps in the market for new product releases.
- Reviewing existing customer accounts to look at opportunities for reducing costs and waste and improving overall service lead times and grow sales revenue.
- Source market leading quotations from suppliers to provide to customers and managing the quotation to order ratio.
- Accurately raising and processing customer purchase orders.
- Maintaining stock levels to meet customer demands and highlighting non-selling products for investigation.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have experience with the above responsibilities, or current experience in a similar Procurement Coordinator or Account Management role.
