Job purpose:
To assist with discharging the duties of a CDM Consultant/Principal Designer or assist the Client/Principal Designer carry out their roles specified in the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 on behalf of Eurosafe UK Clients
A progression toward the Senior CDM Consultant role.

Responsibilities:
To assist the senior CDM Consultant Team in their day to day operations;
To liaise with Clients, Designers and Contractors in relation to discharging duties under the CDM Regulations;
To attend construction project design reviews and design team meetings alongside a Senior CDM Consultant;
To advise Clients, Designers and Contractors on their duties under the CDM Regulations;
To attend pre-start and progress meetings with a Senior CDM Consultant as required;
To conduct site safety inspections on construction sites and prepare reports on the inspection findings;
To prepare or assist with the preparation of Pre-construction Health and Safety Information for construction projects and disseminate to the project team;
To review, prepare or assist with the preparation of Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments and Method statement for construction projects;
You may be required to carry out other duties in line with your job status and level of responsibility, in order to meet the needs of the business.
Experience Required-
NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupation Safety and Health or CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification;
Previous experience within the construction industry ideally within a health and safety role or assisting someone acting in the role;
An understanding of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015;
Excellent organisation and communication skills;
The ability to work under own initiative;
The ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines;
A good level of IT skills.
NEBOSH Construction Certificate;
Technician Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health;
Previous CDM Coordination experience within a consultancy organization.
