About the role:
As a Junior Claims Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our claims processing team, assisting in the efficient and accurate handling of insurance claims. You will work closely with other members of the claim, to investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims in a timely manner.
Our client, are multi sector and handle claims of all kinds! From gadget and appliance to contents and buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse insurance claims to determine coverage and liability, liaising with policy holders and all other parties involved in the claims journey.
- Conduct thorough investigations by gathering relevant information and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, policyholders, and other stakeholders to gather necessary details and provide updates on claim status, recording all information onto inhouse database and systems.
- Assist in the evaluation and negotiation of settlements within authorized limits
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of claims activities and documentation.
£22,000 starting, rising with service and development to Senior Claims Handler.
Hybrid working 3 times per week in the office and 2 days per week on site.
Monday – Friday – between 8.00am – 6.00pm
