Junior Clinical Fellow In Ophthalmology | Liverpool University Hospitals Nhs Foundation Trust

Applications are invited for this exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s premier eye departments. The post is based at St. Paul’s Eye Unit at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital site of Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This post is at the level of ST1 or above, the post is intended for an individual committed to ophthalmology as a career but prior ophthalmic experience is not essential. The proposed start date is the beginning of February 2024 or as soon after that as possible.
This post is parallel to the specialist trainee rotation. It is primarily for service and is not formally recognised for training, however the opportunity to fulfil competencies towards CCT will be available.
The post will include commitments to the general and emergency ophthalmology services and to one or two sub-specialty services as dictated by gaps in trainee rotations. There is likely to be an opportunity for surgical experience.
