Junior Data Analyst Apprenticeship

Universal Product Solutions are on the look out for a Level 4 Data Analyst to join their rapidly growing team! Offering an £18,000 salary, 28 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, company pension and fantastic training and career progression! This is a role you don't want to miss out on!

As an apprentice you will tasked with making reports to help deliver optimal management decisions, investigate data, find trends, forecast performance and provide insightful recommendations, create daily, weekly and monthly reports and much more! You will be immersed in all aspects of Data to help you build a long a illustrious career in the Data industry! On a day to day basis you will be supported by the Chief Admin Officer and the Stock Controller to help guide you on your journey as an apprentice.

As well as the in house support you will also be closely supported by your specialist Coach from Baltic Apprenticeships to provide you with industry expert knowledge each step of the way!

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 4 Data Analyst qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Report making to help deliver optimal management decisions
• Investigate data, find trends, forecast performance and provide insightful recommendations
• Proactively analyse data and review processes, identifying opportunities to improve end to end services and highlighting financial risks and opportunities
• Create daily, weekly and monthly reports on profit, best felling products, slow selling products etc
• Matching off pro formas to invoices, checking cost prices against previous orders
• Carrying out price changes
• Working with stock controller to forecast product sales and plan for correct stock quantities

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

• An understanding of E-Commerce would be beneficial
• An analytical mindset
• Ability to communicate and work alongside other departments
• An understanding of data
• Grade 4/C in Maths and English GCSE or Functional Skills L2
