About the role
Publica Group are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as a Junior Data Analyst. You will be supporting the Data and Performance team with analysis and interpretation of data to assess performance and provide insights for decision-making. You will be at the forefront of data-informed service modernisation with a direct impact on internal culture and external brand perception.
Responsibilities include:
- Data Collection and Preparation: Gather and organise data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and applications. Clean and pre-process the data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of analysis requisitions and change management documentation.
- Reporting and Visualisation: Create and maintain clear and concise reports and dashboards to present findings and insights to stakeholders. Utilise data visualisation tools (such as Google Suite, Power BI, or Excel) to effectively communicate results.
- Data Analysis: Assist in analysing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Use statistical and analytical techniques to draw meaningful insights from the data. Collaborate with senior analysts to develop analytical models and methodologies.
This is a new role covering the Cotswolds, famous for quintessentially English market towns and villages built from honey-coloured stone. You will need
- GCSEs (5 Graded 9-4) or equivalent, including Maths and English).
- Ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
- A willingness to undertake and complete an apprenticeship in Data Analysis Level 4 Certificate after successful completion of probation.
- Excellent level of IT skills.
