Junior Designer – Footwear

- Based in London – White City, West London, moving to Camden Town in Summer 2024
We are now recruiting for a passionate Junior Designer within our Footwear team based in London. This Designer role could cover Ladies, Mens or Kids footwear or any combination of.

About the Role
The Design role is a very creative and independent role. We are looking for a creative, confident, and dedicated designer, who will work within a design team, alongside a design manager and Account manager. This role is also part of the wider design team. As part of this design team, you will be working together on seasonal ranges for the High street. This role will be hands on and will create and develop design concepts for Ladies, Mens and kids (all ages and all categories) in line with market trends and the direction of customer and business needs.
We are looking for a Junior Designer who is:
- Commercially aware of current trends
- An excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels, including customers and factories and third parties based in the Far East and Europe
- Highly organised, efficient and able to work to tight deadlines
- Comfortable working within in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel), photoshop and Illustrator.
- To have technical knowledge, and ability to generate detailed tech packs and indirectly manage of shore development team on daily bases to achieve required result.
- Driven and results orientated
- Proactive, positive and solutions focused
- Ideally Educated to degree level or equivalent in footwear
