The Role
Working in our Lancaster city centre office (with flexible working options), you will quickly become a key member of our fast-paced software development team who design and develop Maytas, our learning management solution. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will gain invaluable experience and skills as a Junior Developer!
This role will provide an excellent opportunity to develop your skills further within a first-class, well established and globally deployed product. You will be part of a distributed product team with outposts in Australia, New Zealand and Manila as well as multiple offices in the UK.
What Can I bring to the Role?
First and foremost, you will have a passion for software development; this will go hand in hand with a solid academic or vocational background and an aptitude for solving problems analytically and creatively. Ideally, you will have some commercial experience under your belt and already started your software journey.
We are looking to hear from Junior Developers with some commercial experience. Tribal work across the Microsoft stack, utilising C#, .Net, JavaScript, Typescript, and various other technologies, so any experience in these areas is highly beneficial.

Don’t be discouraged from getting in touch if you haven’t worked with all Tribal’s tech stack elements, If you are fairly new to the software development world, we appreciate that you won’t have all these skills just yet! However, if you are willing to learn, we are eager to teach you.
You will be comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team and will have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively and clearly explain things in a way which is easily understood by others.
In addition, you will have strong analytical skills with a knack for assessing requirements and translating them into product specifications and tests and the ability to plan and prioritise tasks whilst working to deadlines and producing output of the highest quality.
