Junior Digital Marketing Executive

About Alternative Airlines:

Alternative Airlines are looking for a proactive Junior Digital Marketing Executive to join our experienced marketing team. Alternative Airlines is a fast growing flight search and booking site. We have built a strong online presence, www.alternativeairlines.com, with an ultra-quick flight booking capability and an expanding, global customer base of delighted consumers. About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Digital Marketing Executive to join our fantastic
marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Digital Marketing and with a strong desire to learn and develop their skills. This role involves a mix of Digital Marketing disciplines, including content creation, email marketing, partnership marketing and socials but with a focus on Search Engine Optimisation.
Key Responsibility:
● Content Creation: Content is a huge part of our marketing strategy and a passion to
research and craft relevant, engaging content following SEO best practices is essential
for the role.
● SEO: Conduct keyword research, optimise our existing website content, track organic
performance and work with our SEO team to help increase organic traffic.
● Email Marketing: Help to research, design and execute email marketing campaigns,
working closely with our partnerships team and design team to drive more email traffic to
the site.
● Partnership Collaboration: Work with our partnership team to support activities, such
as emails, socials and supporting content.
● Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team and other teams within the
business to help effectively drive the company forward.
● Market Research: Stay updated with the latest airline industry trends as well as digital
marketing trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our marketing efforts.
The role will help you develop your Digital Marketing skills and knowledge. You will be
surrounded by a supportive and positive team, giving you all the tools and knowledge to
succeed.

**PLEASE NOTE. This role requires you to work from our office based in Horley, Surrey (Hybrid) 1 day per week. Please only apply if you are happy to work from this location**

Qualifications:
●Bachelor's degree is ideal but not necessary.
●0-2 years of experience in Digital Marketing, with a focus on SEO, content creation, or
email marketing.
●Basic understanding of SEO principles, content management systems (CMS), and email
marketing platforms.
●Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce compelling and well
researched content.
●Familiarity with Digital Marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google
Search Console, Ahrefs or Brevo.
●Creative thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
●Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
●Eagerness to learn and adapt to new Digital Marketing techniques and tools.
