Our client is an established Electrical Contractor based in West Sussex.

They are seeking a Junior Electrical Estimator to join their Estimating Team supporting the Electrical Estimating Manager. The company operate from their prestigious West Sussex offices and have a successful and strong reputation for delivering projects in various sectors including Cat A/B Office Fit Outs and Retail.
Responsibilities 
You’ll work alongside an experienced Electrical Estimator assisting in the creation of cost estimates for large-scale electrical projects providing a unique learning experience.
Typical responsibilities will include:

• Produce competitive, commercially viable tenders for new and existing clients.
• Carry out take-offs from working drawings.
• Able to negotiate the optimum tender price from suppliers, wholesalers and subcontractors.
• Ensure tenders are prepared to a high standard.
• Participate in handover of successful bids to delivery team.
• Ensure delivery team understand the technical, financial and key programme issues.

Requirements 
You will be from an electrical building services discipline, either a Junior Electrical Estimator, time served Electrician or an HNC+ qualification in Building Services or Electrical engineering. You will need to be IT competent with good communication skills and hold a full UK driving licence with access to your own transport. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
