Junior Finance Analyst

SF Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a progressive organisation based in South Birmingham in their recruitment for a Finance Analyst. This is a key hire for the business to support with monthly KPI reporting, maintaining systems as well as supporting with month end processes. The business have recently been through a system improvement project which this role will support with ongoing monitoring and reporting of.
The ideal candidate will be systems savvy as well as have a sound background in Accounting. Ideally you will be at least AAT qualified / studying CIMA/ACCA. The progression pathway for this role will be to support with the new FP&A reporting implementation and has scope to progress to a Finance Business Partner. Alongside an excellent benefits package, this role also offers hybrid working.
Role:
- Support wider team with administration and maintenance of systems
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of system finance data
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure reports are fit for purpose
- Support commercial team with providing accurate project reporting
- Power BI reporting
- Produce quarterly audit packs
- Ensure data flows between systems accurately
- Highlight any risks and discrepancies
Requirements:
- Strong systems and Excel skills
- Studying towards ACCA/CIMA or AAT Qualified
- Experience with Power BI desirable
- Excellent communication skills
