Are you an Installation/ Service engineer or similar ready to become a multi-disciplined Engineer in a role where you will be fully trained up on a installing a variety of Fire and Security equipment from within a leading company where you will cover a local patch and can increase your earnings through optional Saturday overtime (1.5x pay) and undertake a range of ongoing progression opportunities?
This well-established company have been established for 40 years and provide installation and maintenance services of Fire and Security systems to a range of clients across the commercial and residential sectors, ranging from tight-knit new build projects to 50-million-pound businesses. They pride themselves on staff retention and exemplify the importance of having a good work-life balance and provide daily support for staff.
In this role you will be fully trained to be a multi-disciplined installation engineer where you will be installing fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, CCTV etc. You will start the day at the Egham office in a relaxed environment where any queries and concerns will be answered and the working day will be discussed. Initially you will be working alongside a team of 2 where you will be given full training of all specialised installation engineering associated with CCTV, fire alarms etc. When you have been fully trained up on the job, you will work autonomously within the role driving the company van to clients in a local 20-30-mile radius working with clients of all back grounds.
This role would suit an Installation/ Service Engineer or similar that is ready to become multi-disciplined and learn the installation process of a variety of equipment. There are lots of optional opportunities for progression within the role, for example office based managerial positions are available in the future. Hard work and skill development is recognised within this company and salary is revised every 6 months to a year to make sure skills and attitude reflects salary.
The Role:
- Product training provided
- Installing fire alarms, Intruder alarms, Access control, CCTV etc.
- Covering a local 20- 30-mile patch around Surrey
- Shadowing current engineers with on job learning experiences
- Commuting to clients and proving installation services to a variety of clients
- Mon - Fri (08:30am - 17:00pm) + optional Saturday overtime
The Person:
- Installation / Service Engineer or similar
- Full Driving Licence
- Commutable to Egham - happy to cover a local patch
