Junior/ Intermediate Lighting Designer

We are a leading international multi-disciplinary design firm based in London, building up an experienced inhouse lighting team. We are seeking talented and motivated Junior to Intermediate Lighting Designer with 0 - 6 years of experience to join our growing team. As a Lighting Designer, you will work closely with our project teams to develop innovative lighting concepts and solutions for a wide range of projects. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced, growing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to develop lighting concepts and designs that meet project goals and requirements
• Prepare lighting design concepts, sketches, drawings, and specifications.
• Select lighting fixtures and equipment that meet project needs and budget
• Create lighting calculations and simulations to ensure proper lighting levels and quality Attend site visits and coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure successful project implementation.
• Provide support to senior designers and project managers as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
• 0-6 years of professional experience in lighting design or related field
• Proficiency in lighting design software such as AGi32, Dialux, or Visual Familiarity with lighting equipment and fixtures, and understanding of lighting codes and standards
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
