A client of ours in the Basildon (Laindon) area are recruiting a Junior IT Support Technician to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working a 37.5 hour week Monday - Friday and paying a negotiable salary depending on experience.
Reporting to the IT Manager, your key duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide 1st line support for users to ensure they can continue with their daily tasks.
- Respond to support requests.
- Assist users with application operations.
- Resolve 1st line support issues.
- Connect with 3rd party service providers.
- Assist with 2nd line support issues.
- Follow IT processes to help maintain a high quality of service.
- Ensure routine assignments are completed.
- Maintain support events and feedback records.
- Review process performance.
- Assist with the implementation and development of IT resources.
- Assist with the physical side of operations.
- Communicate any ideas or concerns.
- Assist with strategic decision making.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Junior IT Support Technician position:
- Administrative knowledge of Microsoft windows 10 client OS.
- Previous 1st line support experience.
- Experience of Microsoft office applications.
- An IT qualification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Accepts personal accountability.
