Junior IT Support Engineer -
Annual Salary: £28,000 circa
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Job Type: Full-time - 45 hours per week
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in technology and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be engaging with a large network of employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
Day-to-day of the role:
Handle and prioritise service requests and support issues using the helpdesk system.
Monitor the IT environment using RMM software.
Administer various enterprise security products to maintain a secure IT infrastructure.
Manage IT-related tasks for user onboarding and offboarding processes.
Maintain the company’s Microsoft 365 tenant to ensure optimal productivity.
Install data cabling, access points, and CCTV systems.
Build and support telecommunications systems and equipment.
Create and revise IT policies and procedures to streamline workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
A strong interest in technology and a curiosity to learn in a constantly evolving field.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction and timely resolution of issues.
Good time management and organisational skills.
A reliable and collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
