SalaryAn M&E contractor based in Belfast seeks to appoint a Junior Contracts Manager. Involved on commercial and industrial projects, you will be the responsible for building services on projects up to £1-2m. Our client wishes to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who has the passion to develop their knowledge and skills in this sector. You will be given the opportunity to develop in their role and play an integral part of the M&E division within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the design process associated with all utilities
- Liaise and work within estimating department at tender stage, to analyse all M&E tenders and be involved completion of M&E tender breakdowns.
- Procurement
- Liaise with Contracts Manager & Director
- Research alternative products or systems for each project.
- Attend & Minute M&E technical meetings.
- Engage with M&E subcontractors & specialists.
- Ensure that the necessary quality procedures & standards are achieved
Requirements:
- Mechanical experience.
- Ability to manage projects with tight deadlines.
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience post apprenticeship/post relevant 3rd level qualification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent customer service.
- Able to communicate politely and professionally.
- Excellent Computer Skills
The successful applicant will be a time-served plumbing & heating engineer with a strong work ethic and exposure to commercial projects. Supervisory or Management experience within Building Services is ideal but not essential.
