We are in the market for a Junior Mechanical Project Manager to join our client's team. As a Junior Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of HVAC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. You will be responsible for managing project teams, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, and implementing efficient project management methodologies to achieve excellence in project execution.
Essential Experience - HVAC/Mechanical Building Services
This role also requires travel to London, where a large portion of projects are located.
Position Overview - Junior Mechanical Project Manager
- Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets for HVAC design and construction projects, under the supervision of senior management.
- Support project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, to ensure alignment with project goals and responsibilities.
- Provide assistance in serving as a point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Aid in coordinating the allocation of resources, materials, and equipment to support project activities, ensuring timely procurement and delivery.
- Assist in identifying potential risks and issues impacting project performance, and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.
- Support the establishment and enforcement of quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
- Assist in monitoring project expenditures and preparing financial reports to support decision-making and project profitability.
- Contribute to the management of project changes, variations, and approvals, maintaining comprehensive documentation and records.
Position Requirements - Junior Mechanical Project Manager
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation practices, with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in project management within the HVAC D&B sector
