We are in the market for a Mechanical Project Manager to join our client's team. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of HVAC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. You will be responsible for managing project teams, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, and implementing efficient project management methodologies to achieve excellence in project execution.

Position Overview - Mechanical Project Manager
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for HVAC design and construction projects, defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, to ensure alignment with project goals, roles, and responsibilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate the allocation of resources, materials, and equipment to support project activities, ensuring timely procurement and delivery to meet project requirements.
- Identify potential risks and issues impacting project performance, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans to minimise disruptions and ensure project success.
- Establish and enforce quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry regulations, and client expectations.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and protocols on-site, promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability among project stakeholders.
- Monitor project expenditures, track costs against budgets, and prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts to support decision-making and ensure project profitability.
- Manage project changes, variations, and approvals, maintaining comprehensive documentation and records of project communications, decisions, and outcomes.
Position Requirements - Mechanical Project Manager
- Proven experience as a Project Manager/Engineer in the HVAC D&B sector (office fit out preferably).
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation practices, with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
