THE ROLE_
Grand Visual are on the hunt for a talented up-and-coming Motion Graphics Designer, specialising in After Effects to join its London team. Our Motion Graphic Designers are responsible for developing creative for a wide range of projects, from Augmented Reality to digital advertising for blockbuster movies.
Specifically, you’ll be working as a Rapid Versioning (RV) Operator, which is our proprietary automation system in After Effects that allows us to create and develop responsive master comps and roll out countless formats effortlessly. This means that you’ll be driving the rollout for DOOH campaigns across the country, harnessing your layout and design skills.
You’ll have the amazing opportunity to work across a huge range of brands, deliver award-winning projects, and collaborate with a creative team of awesome people to deliver effective OOH campaigns and activations across the world.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR_
- You’ll need to have a strong knowledge in After Effects and Motion Graphics
- A portfolio demonstrating your work and creative flair
- Good core graphic design skills including Photoshop and Illustrator. Basic knowledge of InDesign would be useful too
- Great eye for animation and attention to detail as well as understanding the foundations of layout design
- The ability to work under pressure within a fast paced environment across multiple briefs
- Planning and Organising: You need to demonstrate your planning and organisation skills on every project. From briefing to delivery we expect candidates to be as happy working as part of a team or solo. We expect you to handle the pressure of a live studio environment and the time sensitivities of a fast moving industry.
- Decision Making: We truly believe in our staff and their decision making skills and allow them to demonstrate this on behalf of the business. That means we need your creative senses to be sharp at all times, spotting areas of concern or strength, and not being afraid to raise them. We'll provide you with a working environment where this is possible.
