We are looking for a passionate Junior Power Platform Developer to join our Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) team at Global Project Centre West London office on a permanent basis.

As Subsea7 is developing the concept of Citizen and Business Developers (no code / low code developers within the Business function), you will work alongside both engineers and IT developers which presents itself as an excellent opportunity to gain new knowledge and experience. You will grow within the CAE team which is looking to expand and to support various other engineering disciplines within the Subsea7 Business.

The team at Subsea 7 is an example of diversity with various profiles who bring experience and support in Engineering, Python development and Data science.

What will you be doing?

Within the Engineering - CAE department (Computer Aided Engineering), you will be tasked to support various automation and development jobs using Microsoft Power Platform tools in a Microsoft 365 environment. You will be reporting to the Power Platform Business Developer to deliver bespoke solutions and assist with project deliveries. This includes but not limited to:

  • Gathering requirements from Engineering colleagues
  • Developing workflows to aid business processes
  • Design and development of apps/custom forms
  • Supporting users and resolving issues
  • Data modelling

What experience would we like you to have?

  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps and SharePoint.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint Online, including lists and libraries.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, ideally using formulas and VBA.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform – apps and capabilities.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design desirable.
  • Experience with Python, JSON, HTML, Javascript and consuming REST and SOAP APIs are appreciated.
  • Power Bi and data analytics knowledge are non-essential but desirable.
  • You have a strong mindset to learn software skills to support business needs.
  • Eye for detail
  • Understanding of user experience and accessibility in web design
  • Keen to progress career as a low-code Developer
  • Self-motivated to continually learn and improve
  • Passionate about using technology to improve business processes
  • English is mandatory – French appreciated.
  • Based in Suresnes (FR), Sutton (UK) or Aberdeen (UK) with some travels to other Subsea7 office.
