Unitemps are working with an employer in Nantwich who are looking for a passionate, hard-working and dynamic Junior PR Account Executive to join the Beauty, Health and Wellness Team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty, wellbeing and lifestyle and will be expected to work across multiple accounts within the company. The candidate will manage the day to day running of the accounts, maximising existing relationships with key media to drive quality coverage across all clients. Strong creative writing skills and a strong work ethic are absolutely vital.
This position is ideal for those with at least 1 year of PR experience working across beauty and lifestyle brands and social awareness campaigns however, prior experience within PR is not vital. The company are open to discussing this role as being part-time or full-time.
Duties and responsibilities
- Day-to-day communication with all clients with close support from Company Director and Senior Account Manager
- Capitalise on relationships with key journalists and titles
- Ability to proactively generate creative, exciting ideas to pitch to the press in line with national trends to secure consistent top-tier coverage
- Competent writer across all written materials
- Be proactive in all media areas for clients, constantly looking for opportunities where additional media coverage could be achieved above and beyond the client’s brief
- Excellent knowledge of the industry, competitors and media landscape
- Contribute to client and internal meetings
- Monitor the media heavily to ensure that you have a thorough knowledge of journalists, what they have written recently, regular features and opportunities
Skills and experience
- Relevant degree in PR/Comms/Humanities based
- Excellent media/influencer contacts
