Metricell is looking for a passionate Junior Project Manager to join our friendly team! As a member of our Project Management department, you'll have the opportunity to support experienced Project Managers while receiving invaluable mentorship and guidance. You'll play a vital role in assisting Project Managers with various tasks and projects and will be an integral part of our team's success. The ideal candidate should be a proactive, motivated self-starter and thrive on being part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders. Keep them informed of project progress, address their concerns, and manage their expectations.
- Allocate resources, including personnel, to meet project requirements and maintain efficient resource utilization.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including status reports, project schedules, and financial records. Provide regular updates to team leads and stakeholders.
- Support and contribute to project teams. Assist in task assignments, set clear expectations, and facilitate effective communication within the team.
- Adapt to evolving project requirements and scope changes, ensuring that project goals remain achievable.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project management efficiency.
To succeed in this role, you will have
- Previous relevant experience in a similar role or demonstrated transferrable skills
- Desire to learn fast and develop a career in Project Management
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluent written & spoken English skills
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Good overall IT skills, including knowledge of project management tools and software
- A driven, confident, flexible, hardworking and team player attitude
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Applicant should already have legal right to work in UK
Desirable:
- An interest or knowledge of telecoms, mobile networks
- Prior experience or knowledge in Project Management
