Junior Project Manager

Edinburgh - Hybrid

Up to £28,350 plus benefits

Lorien is excited to be working alongside a rapidly growing IT Managed Service Provider based in Scotland with headquarters in Edinburgh and additional offices in the Borders. they specialize in delivering top tier IT Managed Services to diverse organisations across the UK and pride themselves on fostering a collaborative 'One Team' environment where individuality is celebrated, and autonomy is encouraged.

This opportunity would be great for someone who is looking to take on their first Project Manager position where high end training is provided with certifications paid for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate end-to-end processing of orders, from initial sales inquiry to final provisioning, ensuring adherence to established protocols and timelines.
  • Effectively manage personal workload, optimizing project timelines for maximum efficiency.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers, setting and meeting expectations, and promptly addressing inquiries.
  • Serve as a direct liaison with suppliers, utilizing appropriate escalation channels to swiftly resolve any issues.
  • Configure and validate hardware and services integral to customer orders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of billing handovers.
  • Uphold internal and external Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain integrity of customer database (ConnectWise/IT Glue), ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Contribute to and achieve set KPI targets for the Projects team.
  • Exemplify the company's core values and promote a positive image.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in Project Management, particularly within Managed Services or Telecoms sectors.
  • Proven ability to identify upselling opportunities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft applications.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Voice and Data, as well as Hosted Cloud Solutions.
  • Prince2 Foundation or Practitioner certification is advantageous.
