Reed Accountancy is delighted to be supporting a well-respected property company on a flexible part-time Accounts Assistant vacancy. The role boasts a 20-25 hour working contract with flexibility on how you fulfil these hours each week. This role is a interim contract for the next 3 months with potential to be extended.
In this role, you will be responsible for key transactional duties such as accounts payable, receivable and the various reconciliations. Part of this role will include handling queries via telephone and email hence why excellent communication skills is crucial.
You would be working alongside a friendly team in their centrally based office close to many transport links and amenities.
Key Duties
- Responsible for the organisations purchase and sales ledger
- Overseeing the company cashbook
- Reconciling company bank accounts and supplier statements
- Managing and resolving tenant invoicing queries via email
- Posting journals
- Supporting the commercial director when required
Candidate Attributes
- Experience within a finance function
- Positive and friendly approach
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Skilled in MS Excel (Desirable)
