About:
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for construction and roofing projects? Our client, a reputable company specializing in roofing repair and maintenance, is seeking a Junior/Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team at the Nottingham main office. All training is provided.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management for roofing projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance (repair & maintenance)
- Support the senior Quantity Surveyor in day-to-day tasks.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field. (desired)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Motivated and eager to learn.
Benefits:
- 24 days holiday per year.
- Office hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
- Company Van provided for site visits, along with a fuel card.
