Position Overview:
As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient management and delivery of their projects. You will work closely with our experienced team, gaining exposure to a variety of tasks within the realm of quantity surveying for drywall systems, drylining, and wall insulation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets.
- Conduct cost analysis and cost control for ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Engage in value engineering to optimize project costs.
- Perform regular site visits to assess and monitor progress.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to address commercial matters.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a quantity surveying role.
- Familiarity with drywall systems, drylining, and wall insulation projects is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, QS software).
Salary Range: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
