Your new role
My client is looking for a Junior Simulation Software Engineer to join their team of software and aerospace engineers. You will be working on state-of-the-art satellite simulators that are used to validate and prepare our missions.
As a Junior Simulation Software Engineer, you will:
- Design, implement and test spacecraft simulators as part of a team of software and aerospace engineers
- Validate, configure, and deploy simulation software in our environments
- Develop scripts based on the client's operational scenarios
- Perform maintenance activities on simulators to ensure the highest availability to users
- Support in writing standard operational procedures for the Operations team
- Write scripts to configure the simulators as required for the different operational configurations
What you\'ll need to succeed
- A university degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or other STEM discipline
- Experience of debugging and profiling on Linux
- Sound knowledge of modern C++ (C++14)
- Fluency in spoken and written English
