About Our Client
Michael Page have been appointed to recruit for an permanent Junior Site Manager. We are proud to be partnering with a long standing business who have recently experienced a period of growth.
Job Description
- To Capture all project daily activities into a site diary, including for any inclement weather, delays, progress, H&S related issues, deliveries, any other business.
- Safely co-ordinate & oversee large equipment & Plant deliveries in and out of our customer sites.
- With the help of our design teams, be able to view and understand dimensional drawings, and read and understand project specifications.
- To occasionally attend client & main contractor co-ordination & progress meetings.
- Make sure all operatives & Sub-contract teams have suitable competency cards before starting works.
- Depending on the project, hold daily co-ordination meetings with the workforce.
- To make sure all delivered equipment is checked in, and viewed for any damage, and if need be, raised and documented to the project team.
- Assist with and where reasonably practicable, be involved with making sure all waste packaging generated, is suitably disposed of in the site waste streams.
- Be able to carry out any light installation works where reasonably practicable, and with permission of your line manager.
- Able to order & monitor hired equipment when needed, with the support of our purchasing dept.
The Successful Applicant
- HNC or above Qualification either in Electrical or Mechanical
- Experience within the Industry would be an advantage although training will be provided.
- Minimum of 2 years full time employment in a mechanical/electrical position ideally required.
- Full UK driving licence
