Position Title: Junior Software Developer

Reporting To: IT Developer

Location: Milton Keynes (Office based)

Working Hours: 09:00 - 18.00

Terms: Permanent/Full time

Annual Leave Entitlement: 20 days per annum plus 8 bank holidays

Overview:

As a Junior Software Developer, you’ll be part of a small team responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the business through the design, development and testing of a range of exciting projects. During these projects you will be exposed to a number of different systems and technologies, providing a great environment to expand your skills and hone your craft.

Required Skills:

• Experience in developing in JavaScript and Node.js
• Good working knowledge of HTML
• Experience using Microsoft SQL Server
• Good understanding of data structures, architectural and design patterns
• Experience working with Git or similar

Personal Skills:

• Self-motivated with good time management, written and communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and achieve results
• Good initiative
• Ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment
• Flexibility in approach to tasks
